Poole Town Quay FLOOD DEFENCES & REGENERATION

 

Proposals for a boat haven, providing sheltered facilities for 200 yachts, the local fishing fleet (120 boats) and sea defences.

 

A wide range of environmental impacts were assessed, including Landscape; Visual; Ecology; Nature Conservation; Hydraulics; Traffic; Archaeology; Noise; Air Quality; Water Quality etc.

 

The scheme is now built and succesfully operating and is a much cherished part of the quayside environment.
