Sustainable Urbanisation

 

Provided strategic planning advice to the Central Government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in Beijing, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), guiding the PRC response to the unprecedented rate of urban growth throughout China; the identification of effective strategic planning policy interventions at the metropolitan regional level; and the creation of a PRC/ ADB Five Year Strategic Action Plan. 

Technical assistance on environmental management, water, employment, social services, land, energy, infrastructure, transport, governance and financial implications of urbanization scenarios in China’s Metropolitan Regions.
