Quinzhou New Town

Qingzhou Port is the nearest sea access to ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) in the southeast region and is a key element in China’s national growth strategy for accelerated development of the Pearl River Delta and Beibu Gulf; development of China’s western region; and greater cooperation within the ASEAN Free Trade Area.

Maowei Coastal New Town (land area 60km2) is a regional new town serving the existing city of Quinzhou and the significantly expanded port. The new town of 280, 000 people will be a regional production service centre, integrating culture, sports, training and public services.
